I'm Pulling for Chrysler

As you may or may not know Chrysler Motors is now independently owned. The Germans swooped in years ago and thought they could do some good but really just took all our bad habits and exacerbated them. Take for instance the PT Cruiser. Not only was the original Cruiser a limp wristed bastard child of socialist German accountants but it was a hateful car. So hateful in fact that people got HIV from it.

Act 3 in Mercedes bid to ruin an American car company. They retool the HIV distributing assembly robots for the PT Cruiser and make it into a convertible. Well lets be honest folks, it's not really a convertible it's just a hot tub on wheels. So not only are you driving a fang baring HIV machine with poor gas mileage and an engine that can only be described as "ambitious", but because the roof is not holding the chassis firm you can't handle good either. It's all wrong.

That being said. I really am pulling for Chrysler these days. They've always made a solid Minivan which has taken me to many fun spots in relative comfort. Jeep is an American icon, and I will admit I liked the Eagle cars as well. So Chrysler is going to cop some small cars from Nissan, which I think is a smart move. This will let them focus on making some good Minivans and hopefully getting Dodge back on their feet. Get it done boys.

I'll have something about Hollywood sometime this weekend I hope. In the meantime enjoy the golden tones of the band Outlaw. I'm also crafting a new religion and it's chic LA fashion. I'll keep you posted.
